My Dear and loving students, Parents and Guardians,
Obstacles are not the end of the road, they are just obstacles

It gives me immense pleasure to see the successful completion of forty nine academic sessions of our school Umrao Singh Smarak Balika Intermediate College Mumfordganj, Prayagraj. As the manager of the school I congratulate the very efficient teaching and non teaching staff, supporting parents, and the lovely students. I am thankful to the Lord Almighty for providing me an opportunity to contribute and serve this temple of education for girls. With the whole hearted blessings of our beloved Bishop Swamiji Dr. Raphy Manjaly, the support of other Rev. Fathers of the Diocese, this school is moving in the right direction with each passing day.

This school was started by Mrs. Sushila Singh in memory of her husband, Col. Umrao Singh. The vision and mission of the school was to give an opportunity of education to girls specially those who were deprived of education. Her son Mr. Balbir Mathur and his wife Mrs. Treva Mathur visited India in the month of March 2017 and handed over the school to the diocese for it’s better future. Our mission is to reach maximum children through giving the best value based education. For this, we have upgraded the infrastructure with maximum facilities like digital library, updated computer and other labs, Smart classes, medical facilities, counseling facilities etc.

I firmly believe that an institution runs and progresses only with the support of one another and I express my heartfelt thanks to each and everyone who showed faith and provided unstinted support whenever required.

At this juncture I seek Lord's Blessings for the growth of the school in every aspect so that we continue to provide global education based on human values and our tradition. Along with the efficient teachers well furnished Computer Labs, Library, Smart Classrooms, e-Care facilities will be provided to our students.

Our aim is to prepare our students for life and so our School Curriculum lays equal emphasis on the Curricular, Co Curricular and Extra Curricular activities

I wish the school grows into one of the best institution of not only our city Mumfordganj, Prayagraj but the state of UP.
